There's an online art museum made up of 65 million student works, and a first grader from Cedar Hills Elementary School in Oak Creek was named an "Artist of the Week" on it.

OAK CREEK, WI -- Oak Creek Cedar Hills Elementary student Briella Honeck is a proud winner of Artsonia's Artist of the Week contest, a voting competition held on Artsonia.com, which exhibits more than 65 million pieces of student art.

The Henry James Memorial School (HJMS) Art Department is proud to announce that 8th grader Jonas Schroder was selected as a winner of the "Artist of the Week" competition for the week of January 20–26 in the 7th–9th grade category. The online student exhibit space Artsonia, which HJMS utilizes to provide every art student with their own online digital portfolio, selects works of art from students all around the country in a weekly competition. In the week leading up to the competition, visitors to the Artsonia website voted on their favorite choice from their designated age group. Schroder's artwork, entitled "Self Portrait," received more than a thousand votes and was featured on the Artsonia website.
